The last event at the festival is our annual red carpet and award ceremony where the winning competing films are awarded trips to Finland from Audio Visual Production Intensive, product prizes from LA:Bruket, filmmaking tuitions paid for by New York Film Academy and much more.
The award show is by invite only for Press, journalists our filmmakers, jury, actors and directors and will be covered by Variety.
The host for this year’s award show is Sarita Choudhury.
Sarita Choudhury most recently starred opposite Danny Huston in Simon Astaire’s film, THE LAST PHOTOGRAPH and opposite Alan Cumming in the Vincent Gagliostro film, AFTER LOUIE. Choudhury also starred alongside Tom Hanks in Tom Tykwer’s latest film, A HOLOGRAM FOR THE KING and will next be seen with Colin Farrell in Kogonada’s film, AFTER YANG.
On Television, Choudhury is known for portraying the pivotal role of Saul Berenson’s wife Mira on HOMELAND. Recently, Choudhury recurred in the final season of Netflix’s JESSICA JONES, Hulu’s THE PATH, the CBS drama INSTINCT and Facebook Watch comedy STRANGERS. Choudhury can be seen opposite Tina Fey and John Slattery in the upcoming Amazon series MODERN LOVE.

Choudhury made her film debut as the love interest to Denzel Washington's character in Mira Nair's MISSISSIPPI MASALA. Choudhury's performance as the Queen in Mira Nair's controversial film KAMA SUTRA: A TALE OF LOVE captured the attention of many critics.
